Both regular and widescreens come in two surface forms i.e. Glossy and matte. The glossy screen today is more in vogue then matte ones. However, you could come up with some troubles with the Glossy laptops. The glossy surface could become a reflective making reading difficult under some lighting conditions. People who are more in text working buy matte screens but this does not means your glossy screen is nothing but a rag rather you can also work with it considerably well.
